Panel Mount Flashers

Traffic Sensor Corporation's Panel Mount Flashers contain all flashing and load switching circuitry in a convenient to use cube style package. These flashers may be used for flashing two tungsten lamps, LED, or inductive loads. Single circuit operation is possible by connecting only one load, thereby providing a spare circuit should overload of the connected circuit occur.

These are chassis mount flashers with a small footprint of just 1¾ inches by 2¼ inches. Mounting on a flat metal surface is simple through the two #8 clearance holes provided. Usage of a high thermal conductivity grease is required between the flasher and chassis to help dissipate heat for long trouble-free operation. Besides mounting to a cabinet wall, these flashers may be used to upgrade electro-mechanical flashers to solid state reliability. These flashers are epoxy filled giving a rugged unit capable of withstanding the harsh environmental performance requirements of NEMA and 170 Type specifications.

Inductive loads, such as Neon Ped-Heads, should not be dimmed. Bright mode operation occurs when A.C. is removed from pin 12.

Description Designed to replace various Eagle Signal Controls electromechanical and solid state flashers. Mates with the Marbelite sub-base to replace models used in Automobile Traffic Controllers, or electromechanical models. There are no electrical contacts to wear out or need replacement.

Cap Flashers

Traffic Sensor Corporation's Model CF Series flashers are signal cap flashers designed to be installed into the signal head and flashing beacons. These flashers are suitable for flashing tungsten lamp loads. Standard twelve sided mushroom signal caps provide the housing for both single and dual circuit versions. The circuitry is encapsulated with epoxy to provide a rugged, maintenance-free unit capable of withstanding the environmental requirements at the signal head. A lock ring and gasket are included. Units have a #8 ring terminal attached to more than twelve inches of hook-up wire for each lead. All units have been tested and are ready to use. Fuse protection is provided.
